With just two weeks until the start of the seventh edition of Expodrinks, Barranquilla is ready to host over 10,000 visitors at Puerta de Oro, the Caribbean event center. Scheduled from November 14 to 17, the event will offer a diverse array of activities, including tastings, educational talks, and live music performances, all within a 9,000-square-meter exhibition space.
Expodrinks has become a key gathering spot for enthusiasts of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, featuring 70 exhibitors showcasing top products from both the national and global markets.
“From Olímpica, we invite everyone to experience Expodrinks, the Caribbean region’s most important liquor fair. For four days, visitors can learn from national and international experts about the culture of fine drinking,” said Sergio Rivera, National Marketing Manager of Olímpica.
The fair’s academic program will include workshops on beverage preparation and preservation, as well as tastings and talks on responsible drinking and enology. Attendees can also enjoy a local competition to crown Barranquilla’s best bartender, where the audience will have a role in selecting the winner.
The competition, known as "Bartenders of the Caribbean," will take place during Expodrinks. The local call invites experienced mixologists to showcase their skills, with the selection process conducted through social media.
The event also boasts an exciting musical lineup. On the first day, performers like Peter Manjarrés and Fary will take the stage, while on Friday, attendees will enjoy the Dominican group Rikarena alongside a live broadcast of the Colombia vs. Uruguay soccer match on a giant screen. Saturday and Sunday nights will feature Luifer Cuello and other popular artists.
Organizers expect over 10,000 attendees to enjoy the unique experience that Expodrinks offers. “In this new edition, visitors will have the chance to immerse themselves in a world where mixology is celebrated as an art. Here, attendees won’t just enjoy a drink—they will live an experience combining top-quality spirits,” said Juan Esteban Pérez, Executive Director of Corferias Caribe.
Products will be available at special fair prices, with additional discounts for those making purchases with the Olímpica Credit Card. General admission tickets cost $55,000 from Thursday to Saturday and $27,500 on Sunday, with multi-day passes available for full access across all four days.
“At Olímpica points of sale, pre-sale pricing will apply, with general admission at $44,000 or $35,200 when paid with the Olímpica Credit Card,” the announcement adds.
Organized by Supertiendas Olímpica and Corferias, Expodrinks has become a signature event in Barranquilla with the slogan, “The best story is lived at Expodrinks.” The fair promises unforgettable moments in a vibrant, educational atmosphere.
